Support Maine

Many organizations are going way beyond what they have ever done before, what they were prepared for, what they ever imagined. For those who want to offer support from afar, consider donations to organizations like:

• National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)-Maine chapter: One of their employees was on the local news station “basically all night” offering support, advice and guidance to Mainers as we’ve tried to navigate this tragedy.

• Central Maine Medical Center: This hospital—which would be considered pretty small to many of you—had to kick in to super high gear on Wednesday night. Taking on jobs of treating victims of gun violence. They created the CMMC Compassionate Care Fund for those who would like to support the hospital with a donation.

• Brady : Demand action at your local level. Contact your elected officials right now to ban assault weapons.

• Lewiston Strong: Rogue Life Maine launched a campaign with their clothing line and are donating all proceeds to Lewiston families.
