At the 2010 National Afterschool Association Convention, Eric Gurna of Development Without Limits moderated a debate between Carla Sanger of LA's BEST Afterschool Enrichment Program and Mark Levine of the Center for After School Excellence at TASC. The debate, entitled "Formal Credentials or Community Connections," explored different perspectives on the issue of how to train and professionalize the afterschool workforce.
