Inspire With Technology: The My Hero Project
The My Hero Project is a website that helps young people create their own web pages about someone they admire. This user friendly site is a great way to integrate youth development and technology, and also includes creative projects like an online film festival and virtual art gallery, all centered around stories that serve to remind us that we all have the potential to overcome great obstacles and achieve our dreams by following in the footsteps of our heroes.
Development Without Limits provides professional development and technical assistance to help organizations use the My Hero resources to enrich their programs with technology, positive themes and creativity. DWL also created a Guide for Afterschool Educators to help programs embrace My Hero.
